This mosaic depicts the reflection of the sun off the mountain onto the lake. This magical place is near Lake Tahoe but much more secluded! Various sizes and thickness of tesserae (fancy name for tiles) creates texture; light colored grout enhanced with acrylic paint to unify the piece.
